Mount Pisgah Academy Builds Home for DoctorAt the end of February a group of 20 students from Mount Pisgah Academy and some of their parents made their first trip to Africa under the guardianship of Dean Andrew Rahm. Their mission: to build a much needed home for the community’s doctor and his family. Over the past four years the small clinic has become a center for affordable healthcare in the Maasai community, and is now self sustaining. Read more ... | |
Lunches for OloosinonIn between building a home for the clinic’s doctor, the Mount Pisgah Academy students raised money to buy lunches for the more than 100 students from Oloosinon Primary School. These students went without lunch daily because they lived too far away to return home and come back in time for afternoon classes, and were too poor to pay for lunch at the school. Read more ... | |
