Carol Smith
Advisory Board Member
Carol lives with her husband near Chattanooga, TN. She is a retired elementary school teacher and an avid birder and wildlife photographer. Her love of travel has taken her to many parts of the world with more then a dozen trips to Kenya. She was formally the treasurer of Africa Mission Services but has been on the board since the beginning of this organization.

Our Mission

Our mission is to facilitate community development and relief among the Maasai tribe of Kenya by hosting short term volunteers and providing them with the opportunity and infrastructure to participate in and support humanitarian service.

Africa Mission Services (AMS) is registered as an international non-government organization (NGO) working primarily in rural Kenya.
