Clinic Re-painted

Completed: Feb. 2013 Location: Main clinic building in Engos gets a repaint job done. Virtual Tour of the Clinic Africa Mission Services Community Health Clinic at Engos was built in 2006. Initially the clinic was only open when there were groups of medical volunteers here to work. In December of 2008 the clinic officially opened with full-time staff. Since opening, AMS clinic has revolutionized health care in this rural community. The clinic is self-sustaining and indigenously staffed. Grass Valley Mission Group

Completed: June 2012 Location: Group continued work on surgical/dental ward at the Engos clinic, dental, medical, eye. June 22nd the Grass Valley Group of 38 arrived. This week they have been doing dental, medical, optomitry in the surrounding villages as well as at the AMS clinic. There is also a busy team working on the continued construction of the surgical center at the clinic - and finally we have an energetic VBS team going to the Kawai school each day. Relive Mission Group

Completed: June 2012 Location: Begin building surgical/dental ward at the clinic. June 14th the LLU/ReLive Volunteer group of 33 people joined us here at Mara West! The project??? Finishing up the girls dormitory by painting and moving in the bunkbeds and starting the surgical ward at the Engos Clinic! We also have medical personnel working at the clinic and dentist.
